Commissioned by the M.F. Husain museum specifically to design the chair covers and lighting for the M.F. Husain Museum Café, the concept draws from Husain’s belief that art should extend beyond the canvas into lived space. Fragments from several of his paintings were selected and reinterpreted into the chair surfaces and lighting elements, allowing portions of his visual language to gently unfold around the visitors as part of their visit experience within the café.
